Sunday School: We have a wonderful Sunday school program, which includes classes for all ages. Newborn through age 99! We have a nursery, pre-k and kindergarten class, early elementary, late elementary, teenage years, an adult class, a bilingual class and a parenting class. Many of our Sunday school teachers are retired Elementary school teachers who have a heart for teaching and for children. Sunday School meets every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30 am the week after Labor Day through the week before Memorial Day.
Sparks: For Children in grades K-6th we have an amazing program called Sparks that meets every Wednesday night from 7-8:30pm. The evening consists of fun and unique games, energetic worship songs with actions, an interactive Bible story and a time to share stories from the week in small groups. We typically average 25 students attending this exciting program!

Women Ministries: The women of Good Shepherd invite you to join us as we participate in the church and the community through fellowship, local and international mission projects, retreats and service. Women of all ages are invited to join us as we study the Word every Tuesday morning at 10:00 am.
The faith community at Church of the Good Shepherd is best described as a family. We love to gather together to sing, pray, laugh, cry, share, serve and of course, eat! Here is a list of a few of the times we gather as a church family.
Welcome to the Church of the Good Shepherd Evangelical Covenant!
We are a connectional, intergenerational and multicultural gathering of believers who are learning how to follow Jesus; the good shepherd. We seek to be a place of connection for all those who want to belong to an authentic faith community.
We belong to the Evangelical Covenant Church, a global denomination that is seeking to love justice, do mercy and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8). As a local congregation, we minister to families and individuals from the greater Joliet-area communities and beyond.
We hope that you consider visiting our faith community and we invite you to attend a church service!
