We have a wonderful Sunday school program, which includes classes for all ages. Newborn through age 99! We have a nursery, pre-k and kindergarten class, early elementary, late elementary, teenage years, an adult class, a bilingual class and a parenting class. Many of our Sunday school teachers are retired Elementary school teachers who have a heart for teaching and for children. Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 am the week after Labor Day through the week before Memorial Day.
For Children in grades K-6th we have a monthly program called Cayambe Connection, a partnership with a home for at risk children in Cayambe, Ecuador. We also offer a Homework Helpers session on Wednesday nights during ESL where kids can come work on their homework or play games during ESL and Journey.
When students reach 7th and 8th grade, we offer an exciting two-year, age-appropriate, journey through the Bible with one year in the Old Testament and one year in the New Testament. Pastor Jake teaches this very formational experience in the lives our youth. Middle schoolers also have opportunities to serve in the community to explore their gifts. This class meets Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm.
Our high school group of 'Sojourners' meets on Sunday nights (during the school year) from 6:30-8:30pm. It's an awesome time for them to gather, play games, and have conversations about faith and life.
This group also goes on multiple outings and retreats every year. If you have a high schooler who would be interested in trying out this group feel free to reach out to Pastor Cheryl Lynn at firstname.lastname@example.org
